Reason for Selling:

Retirement

Overview of the Business:

UNBELIEVABLE pricing !! Considerable savings over a brand new, undeveloped franchise! Fibrenew is a home based leather, vinyl and plastic repair and refinishing business rated by its franchisees as one of the best franchises available. I have used this business as a part time venture for 11 years working, on average, less than 20 hrs. per week. The protected territory is Delaware County, PA. though we have done much business beyond the territorial limits. The area has been only partially developed with little, if any, competition. We service all residential and commercial customers including, but not limited to: automotive, marine, aviation, furniture mfgrs and dealers, furniture warranty companies, hospitals and, generally, any individual or company who may need repair services for their leather, vinyl or plastic. Please visit the website before contact: www.fibrenew.com.

Property Features and Assets:

Fibrenew is a mobile service franchise. 90% of repairs/ refinishing are done at the customer's home or office. Major jobs such as the complete re-dyeing of a leather furniture suite is done at your location- in a garage, etc. No separate facility is required. A mini van or SUV works best as a work vehicle but some franchisees have started the business using their automobiles before moving to a larger vehicle. Existing advertising (Yellow Book) and the business phone number are also included.

Market Competition and Expansion:

There is one other competing franchise in Delaware County and their work is limited to automobiles. A neighboring county contains a leather repair franchise whose focus is primarily furniture. There are some independent contractors who work only in the automotive area and whose work has been less than satisfactory. The number of independents is difficult to ascertain as these entities do no advertising.
