It's real food served by real people. We're not fru fru. We're not even just a single fru. What we are is euphoria inducing burgers and fries, the miracle that is our marinated chicken and a gadjillion other things you gotta try to say you've truly lived. Cruisers embodies the laid back beach lifestyle at its best. So throw some sand in your underwear to heighten the experience, get on your beach cruiser and join us. You're gonna crave Cruisers.
The original Cruisers opened in 1996 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. It was a near instant hit. For local beachgoers who loved burgers, marinated chicken chunks, quesadillas, salads, cheddar fries, nachos and more, it was more like paradise on Earth. Word of Cruisers began to spread and it wasn't uncommon (and still isn't) for customers to come from miles away to try the food that had already attained folklore-like status.
Cruisers food is best described with one word – FRESH. Nearly everything is made on the premises of each Cruisers location. We whip up our own dressings, marinades, sauces and even hand-bread our famous fish sandwiches. (Well, we hand-bread the fish part. The bread is already, well, bread.) We're especially proud of the fact that we have NO HEATLAMPS. (Take that…uh…everybody else!)
