Reason for Selling:

Retirement

Overview of the Business:

The buyer of this license will get the rights to partial, ongoing royalties from two existing stores and two stores to be opened yet this year. They will also get the right to develop more than a two county area in suburban Detroit, for which they will receive partial franchise fees and ongoing royalties. The buyer's responsibilities are to promote the franchise brand in the area through advertising and other promotions, to help create new franchisees in the area, and then to help train and launch those new franchisees. It is also expected that the buyer will own their own store for a period of time. As more and more stores are added in the license area, the income of the buyer increases. It is priced similar to a territory without any existing business.

Market Competition and Expansion:

The licensed territory is the fastest growing and most affluent in the Detroit Metro area. The growth of home based businesses and nationwide telecommuting means the basic demand for the franchised service is growing. This territory will support stores as close as within a 0.5 mile radius from each other in some areas, so growth is limited only by the buyer’s ambition. This 20 year old franchise has a wider variety of services than its competition and is backed by a proven, solid organization. It can ship using one of many sources, so the right source for the job is always used. Using a street address for the post office box, allows the customer to receive packages, something a USPS PO box will not. It is a one stop shop for a individual with a home office, with hours that are more convenient than the USPS.
