The process does not harm the carpet fibres and there is no risk of shrinkage as it uses a fraction of the water of alternative cleaning methods. Most carpets are dry in 1-2 hours and upholstery in 5-6 hours with minimum disruption. The process uses no soaps or detergents and only helps to extend the life of the carpet.
