I am selling so I can move and live in Florida. I currently have 4 towns as my territory, but the territory is too large for me to handle. So I will sell 3 of the towns. I have no store fronts in any of the towns. So therefore , I have decided to sell them town by town or the whole business. Towns available are Fairlawn, SaddleBrook, and Rochelle Park. Saddle brook has the option of signing up to a retail Walmart Kiosk, if available. there is a transfer fee required by Jackson Hewitt Corp, to complete the franchise process. I will pay half of that fee. Jackson Hewitt has approved vendors in which you can purchase computer, printers, desks, filing cabinets. Purchase price for these items is approximately $5,000.
Market Competition and Expansion:
H& R block is our major competitor. If you currently have an existing store front in any of the towns available it would be an advantage and great fit! I will train and orientate purchaser with all the in and outs of the business. In addition Jackson Hewitt has frequent work shops in the area so to orientate and advice you on the business. I currently have an Elmwood Park office, Jackson Hewitt preparing taxes there for 4 tax seasons. I would consider selling all four towns for a better price.
