IKOR USA OPENS SECOND DFW LOCATION TO EXTEND SERVICE TO JOHNSON, PARKER AND SOUTHERN TARRANT COUNTIES

New Fort Worth Office Will Provide Healthcare Advocacy and Guardianship Services To Enhance Quality of Life for The Disabled, Seniors And Those With Special Needs

Date Posted: 1/21/2011 3:23:55 PM

FORT WORTH, Texas - Having been warmly embraced this past October upon opening a Grapevine, Texas, office to serve Northern Tarrant, Denton and Collin Counties, IKOR USA announced today that it has opened another location in nearby Fort Worth to provide healthcare advocacy and guardianship to residents of Johnson, Parker and Southern Tarrant Counties. Cimarron Associates, LLC, d.b.a. IKOR of DFW South will help trust fiduciary professionals and family members provide a better quality of life for seniors, the disabled and those with special needs by planning, implementing and supervising programs that address their medical, environmental and psycho-social needs.

IKOR serves as a valued resource to trust fiduciary professionals who find themselves charged with making critical decisions concerning the care, living arrangements and general well-being of disabled and special needs individuals as well as seniors. Care concerns for the disabled in our society, whether they are in a facility or at home, are so complex that they need an advocate whose primary focus is helping them obtain the correct assistance for their needs. For seniors, again whether at home or in a facility, these concerns typically arise when they lack family or have family members who are located remotely and can't offer first-hand assistance. At times, trust fiduciary professionals may feel unqualified to make complex medical decisions, and turn to IKOR as a guiding force, providing independent validation that they are acting in the best interest of their ward.

IKOR's services are divided into three core areas that are equally critical to optimizing quality of life for those in need of care, as well as their loved ones. These include:

* Professional, experienced dedicated personnel - Every IKOR office includes Registered Nurse Patient Advocates whose services are available all day, every day to handle medical responsibilities ranging from locating the best care facilities to monitoring those facilities, monitoring prescriptions, evaluating medical care providers, coordinating in-home care and more. Business professionals within each office complement these measures, handling responsibilities ranging from executing power of attorney authorizations to providing routine financial management and more, for a comprehensive approach to pursuing a better quality of life for each client.

* "The IKOR Approach" - A sophisticated system incorporating a need assessment, on-site quality assurance, care services coordination and development of short-term and long-term strategic healthcare plans. The IKOR Approach addresses every medical, environmental, psycho-social and educational issue that affects an individual, offering the best choices to address his or her specific needs.

* Sophisticated technology - DatikorĀ®, a proprietary database-driven system at the heart of The IKOR Approach, ensures that no matter how near or far or what time of day, everyone officially involved in an IKOR client's case management has secure access to the updated information they need for seamless and accurate care.

Seasoned Business Pro and Care Provider To Operate Office

Cimarron Associates is owned by Grand Prairie, Texas resident Mindy Jones, who is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Dallas, the Fort Worth Business and Estate Planning Section of the Tarrant County Bar Association and the National Guardianship Association. She will be aided by Registered Nurse Patient Advocate Ophelia Washington.

"IKOR has the potential to make a real, tangible difference in the lives of our clients, their families and our community," Ms. Jones says. "I am convinced that a tremendous need exists to assist and facilitate both fiduciary professionals and families in navigating the complexities of our current healthcare environment and I know I will derive great satisfaction from being part of that work."

To celebrate its launch and better acquaint area residents, businesses and professionals with its services, the new IKOR office will conduct a series of open houses over the next several months.
