Toronto, Ontario - Since launching The Investing in America campaign in August, WSI has been receiving a strong response from American Veterans. WSI is now proud to welcome another Marine to the family, Marcus Henry.
WSI Vice President of Marketing, Elizabeth Monaghan who was part of the process in bringing Marcus aboard stated, "I am so pleased to have Marcus join the WSI franchise, and that he found us through the Investing in America campaign, makes his arrival even more rewarding."
At the age of 22, Marcus began reading a book about the characteristics of the wealthy and it spoke about discipline. Deciding he should go and seek out information about the military and their core values, he soon discovered that if he wanted discipline in his life, he needed to join the Marines.
"They taught me a lot and one of the things that really stuck with me are the big three - honor, courage, and commitment", said Marcus. "If you have the big three with a little bit of motivation, I think you can go far in the business world."
When he joined the Marines, the job he chose was combat photography, which led to the visual information field of graphic arts, combat photography, and videography. He immersed himself in the field and after eight years with the Marines, he returned to civilian life and earned a contract job relating to his skills. After three years he realized it was time to act on lifelong desires of owning a franchise.
"I have been considering franchising for years now; I've just never acted on it," admitted Marcus."
When considering franchises, he knew he wanted something that wasn't 'brick and mortar'. Although for the moment, living in the Nevada area Marcus knows he isn't going to be there forever, so he needed to find a franchise that he could take with him.
Knowing that an online business has always been his dream, Marcus quickly found WSI and knew early on, it was the right fit for him.
"I chose WSI for so many reasons, it's my background for one, it's mobile for two, and with the Investing in America program it's a no brainer," said Marcus who further stated, "Just like the Marine Corp, I want to be with the best."
Marcus who is eager to start training in mid November, calls the experience an exhilarating feeling and a leap of faith, but knows that crossing over into the business world from the employee quadrant is something he just simply has to do.
"I'm going to hit the ground running," spoke Marcus, "I'm bringing my Marine Corp spirit into this franchise and I definitely want to be the best at it."
Elizabeth Monaghan stated, "People who find WSI seem to have an entrepreneurial mind, strong independent spirit, and have the passion to become successful in order to continue the WSI tradition as the #1 internet marketing franchise. I know Marcus will be a franchisee to watch as he seems to possess the natural abilities needed in the WSI internet consulting business."
